About Raise The Grade

Continued growth in the hospitality and food services industry has brought more restaurants and lodging options to our communities than ever could have been imagined a decade ago. Responding to this growth, Raise-The-Grade® was formed to offer ServSafe® food safety & sanitation as well as ServSafe Alcohol® certification to all types of foodservice operations throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and beyond.  In addition to the food safety and responsible alcohol service classes, Raise-the-Grade® also offers both scheduled and surprise audits for food service operations as well as on site ServSafe Starters classes for line level employees. 

Experience

Raise-The-Grade® is proud to have experienced instructors that have over 75 years combined experience in the areas of hospitality/lodging, food preparation, food service, corporate training, management, marketing/sales, purchasing, catering, business financials, secondary and collegiate education, and of course customer service.  It is our goal that each student leaves the class not only armed with more knowledge of food safety and sanitation but with positive, up-beat, professional renewal for the food service & hospitality industry.  Take a look at what some of our ServSafe Certificate Program Graduates have to say about us.
